Pafos oli hyvä alku Kyproksen-lomallemme, mutta pari yötä siellä riitti kyllä ihan hyvin. Sieltä ajoimme vuoristokylien läpi kohti Akamasin niemimaata, jossa on luonnonsuojelualue useine patikointireitteineen. Matka oli vain noin 45 kilometriä ja tiet enimmäkseen hyvät, tosin vuoristotiethän ovat aina jossain määrin mutkittelevia ja välillä tielle oli vuorenjyrkänteeltä pudonneita valtavia kiviä, joten varovaisuus oli valttia vuoristoteillä. Tämän reissun voi siis helposti halutessaan tehdä päiväretkenä Pafosista. Paphos was a good start for our Cyprus holiday but a couple of nights there was quite enough.
