Sopivaa talvilomakohdetta etsiessämme yksi tärkeimmistä kriteereistä oli budjetti, joka nopeasti karsi pois kaukaiset trooppiset kohteet, sekä ilmasto. Talvihan on talvea kaikkialla Euroopassa, mutta emme ainakaan halunneet Maltaa kylmempää tai kehnompaa keliä. Halusimme kohteen, jossa voi sekä vierailla historiallisissa nähtävyyksissä, että nauttia luonnosta ja näin ollen päädyimme Kyprokseen. When choosing the destination for our winter getaway, the most important criteria were the budget (which quickly led to eliminating the far away tropical destinations) and the climate. Of course winter is winter everywhere in Europe, but at least we didn't want to go to a place with worse (read colder) weather than Malta. We also wanted to be able to visit historical sights as well as enjoying the nature so we ended up going to Cyprus. Another reason to travel to Cyprus - loads of cats everywhere!
